Our Story

Since January of 2015, Centro’s dynamic ambiance and modern American tapas menus, have brought that “big metropolitan locale feeling” to our Biggest Little City. Our owner traveled to Spain in his young formative years (retired Chef) and always wanted to open a small plate restaurant, drawing inspiration from the famous "Tapas bars" so common there. Our long standing core crews, under the guidance of our Executive Chef, has dedicated themselves to surprising and delighting our patrons, with new and exciting preparations time and again.

Our Story

Since January of 2015, Centro’s energetic ambiance and modern American tapas-inspired plates have brought that “big city feeling” to our bar and kitchen. Our owner traveled to Spain in young adulthood and returned to Reno with a mission to bring Spain’s tapas food culture to the Biggest Little City. At Centro, our core crew has been dedicated to surprising and delighting our patrons with new and exciting preparations time and again for over four years. Working to create the feeling that a special experience is about to unfold is part of our culture, and all of this combined contributes to our success.
